Welcome to our Monthly Newsletter, we will keep you informed not only on what’s going on at The Drunken Chef but also what’s happening in the world of Formula 1, WRC and The English Premier League.

This month in Suzhou, we had the worst snow in 50 Years, the city whilst not quite closed, getting around in taxis was difficult at best, some city road became blocked with piled up snow in places up to 2 feet deep.

Naturally the taxi drivers had never seen snow so some tails of drivers impersonating an ice skaters, bus drivers doing double axels etc. so if you have any pictures let me have them and we will put them on the site.

Valentines Day Fusion Dinner
This Year we are offering something a little different at The Drunken Chef, East meets West Valentines Dinner, featuring USDA Prime Rib and Classic Mandarin Fish, Jacket Potatoes stuffed with Creamed King Prawns and Special Spring Rolls.

New House Wine  
We are delighted to welcome our new house wine for 2008, Chile Casa Grande Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 and Chile Casa Grande Chardonnay 2006. while not the cheapest house wine on the market, the little extra is well worth the experience, graded as FINE on the international wine listing we hope you will give it a try.

Formula 1 2008 with Carlsberg
We are again privileged to be working with Carlsberg Beer to bring you Formula 1 at The Drunken Chef.

A chance to win a ticket to The Chinese Grand Prix with every purchase of any Carlsberg, this year we will have our own bus to take us to the circuit and a party on the circuit, some of the best seats and a great day out.

We start the year on Saturday the 15th of march with Live Coverage of Qualifying then at 11.00 o’clock on Sunday the 16th 2008 season Preview with Clive and Bhav, 12.00 o’clock race live, 2 o’clock prize draw the at 4.30 one for the lads, Miss Drunken Chef Wet T-Shirt contest.

Our march edition of the newsletter will include a Formula 1 review of 2007 and what we think may happen in 2008 so don’t this out chance to totally get it wrong in print !

New menu for 2008  
We have introduced a new menu for 2008, lots of new dishes, a new vegetarian section, round the world specials and some very old favorite typical English Pub food.

Comedy Club 2008 
We are currently booking a number of front line comedians from England, Ireland and Australia for 2008.

Comedy Club will be the last week of each month from May through November, tickets will be 150rmb per person and only available from The Drunken Chef.
